Given their current left-back is Maldini Bidwell they’ll probably go and storm the league with that sort of upgrade. Nice sign-on fee and a tidy wage increase I’m sure. Being honest, more chance of promotion too.
Maybe he wants to be closer to Ireland. Only a swim.
I thought they had made Bidwell into a left CB...and so would add Manning as a left wing back.

It’s all relative. They’ve started well. We’re more likely to go up than Wycombe. If they hold onto Rodon then they’re probably no better or worse than most of the top dozen teams or so. Started the season well and the kid from Wolves on loan is the sort of cut above player you need in this dross league to get top six.
It's all about the money. Is this a move to further a career? I personally dont see it. He was gaining a reputation with us, one of the first names on the team sheet, regular first teamer. He can **** right off for my liking. Good riddance to the little prick.

Manning has put himself in between a rock and a hard place tbh. He’s held out for a Prem move and it hasn’t materialised. So he is left with the option of a move to another championship club or re-sign for us on an improved deal and build for a transfer in the future or rot in the reserves unnoticed until the end of his contract.
My guess is he’ll take the championship move to save (some) sort of face. Personally it’s a waste of time move; he may as well as re-signed, put his head down and waited for the big move.
We shall see as they say.
