They'd be getting what is likely the better player. Having said that, as our not moving for Diaby would be down to ffp constraints rather than lack of ambition, I'd be happier with our window resulting in Tonali & Barnes than McTomminay and Diaby.
There's no pleasing people! I'd be happy if they only got Tonali. It's concerning how greedy the fans are getting.

I wasn't talking about Saint Maximin. Villa are after Diaby. If they were to sign him and we get Barnes then it's likely that Villa have the better player of those two.
