He was outside St James' every single day and had no idea the takeover was done, not just being discussed

The Barnes story is a bit loud though don't you think ? Usually that means Newcastle sign another player.
 
Anyone know of any updates on Livramento? Is that deal simply dead now, or are discussions still ongoing?

Also seen there are rumours re-emerging about Walker-Peters too.
 
This Barnes story is definitely going the way of the maddison and barella links. It was all but done and now the buts have come along ..... Next phase will be the huge difference in valuation and then Newcastle will confirm a different deal is done.
