Would be an excellent signing all round midfielder still young but loads of experience at this level

Another who seems to fit our profile perfectly. West Ham paid a lot of money for this lad. If they don't feel they can give him games at the minute,a loan move to us might be on.

Who the ****'s this 'TM' that a few refer to . . . . . if you mean Tony Mowbray his first initial is obviously 'A' <doh>

If some are looking to insult him, this is one way, I suppose :emoticon-0112-wonde

:emoticon-0102-bigsm :emoticon-0102-bigsm He's known as Tony though......that's like talking about Andrew Pandy instead of Andy....no-one would know who you were on about!:emoticon-0105-wink:

can somebody who understands these things explain to me how we can sign Michut and Ba, but Fulham can't sign Kluivert?

No it's not, Dosey Brain . . . . it's the same initials. Betty Boop would hate to receive letters addressed to B. Boop when her official name's obviously Elizabeth, or Betty Windsor, who has the same first initial as Miss Boop :emoticon-0136-giggl

Diallo, Michut, Ba, Van Hecke.....If we get them all over the line that's brilliant. Worry about us at right back a little bit, but says a lot about how highly they think of Huggins I guess to hold the place for him

Huggins is a left-back/wing back bud. Right back we have Hume, wingback we have Gooch…. Or O’Nien as Right centre-back. Still think we need a right back to compete with Hume for that spot.

I’ve no idea why Kluivert can’t get one, seems strange and almost like a fib.. he’s played nearly 50 games in Cat A leagues in the last 2 seasons. All I can think of is because he hasn’t played for his parent club enough times. Rules are relaxed for u21’s too in regards the ones we’re signing

He plays on either side and is right footed. The few games he’s played for us so far he’s been at right back.

Of all of those I am most excited by Ba, which might be an odd one. How Le Havre develop young players is regarded very highly. They have a great record when it comes to players going on to be worth fortunes. He has a bit of experience already in first team footy, and of course he is ours from day 1. Very young of course, but you can be certain youngsters from France will be technically good, and that is the important base to work from.

me too.

strangely my one reservation about him is his low price. I just cant believe we're getting somebody as good as he's supposed to be for under £1m.

He’s in his last year of contract I think so that might explain the low figure.

Both the French lads are absolutely class if you believe everything that’s been written about them.

Potentially two very shrewd and exciting signings.
