Of all of those I am most excited by Ba, which might be an odd one. How Le Havre develop young players is regarded very highly. They have a great record when it comes to players going on to be worth fortunes. He has a bit of experience already in first team footy, and of course he is ours from day 1. Very young of course, but you can be certain youngsters from France will be technically good, and that is the important base to work from.
Cheapest to get on the back of your shirt too :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Interesting read about their academy. Seems a pretty strict routine.

Reading up on michut, apparently had a falling out with new psg manager in July. Was told to train with the development team, but not happy about it as all last season he was with the 1st team.

Makes a bit more sense in that light how we've managed to get him.

Both of these players are types of signings I'd expect from top championship sides, or even bottom half premier League. Also Shows why the DoF model is a good one when working properly. If it was manager calling the transfer shots, these deals would have been scuppered when the manager left.

I genuinely think the club is finally moving in the right direction in terms of recruitment and deals.

well done KLD and KS.

Potentially exciting signings! I hope these young lads, totally outside of their normal habitat, are able to settle.
On that point, what routines do the club have in place to integrate these lads into life in Sunderland? Anyone?
Assuming they don't just book them into the Hilton and leave them?
