The Spotrac site has a lad called Jarrod Branthwaite on 780k a year. He’s 20 and never kicked a ball in England. No way is broadhead on 150k

Some keeper again never talked over here, 520k. I expect his wages are at least that if not more.

It was a paper who quoted the 30k a week. Obviously might be bollocks but who knows

Don’t believe that fir a second. £2900 is less than Pritchard and Bailey Wright are on. It’s a league 1 wage. Don’t believe he’d have stayed at Everton for that as I reckon we’d have offered at least that if not more
These figures are prior to him signing his new contract this week. I can't see him jumping from £2900 a week to over £30k a week, can you?

pretty sure he played at least 6 premier league games last year at center back

Yep, totally agree. Some people don’t want to develop loan players which is understandable, but in our current position we should be going to be big 4/6 for players who would improve our starting Xl. No good saying don’t develop other clubs players when they’d massively improve our team and we have no chance of signing them on a permanent. Plenty of highly regarded prospects around Europe that clubs would rather be playing week in week out in front of 40k fans than playing u23s football. As we spoke about earlier on the thread, Derby had Mount, Tomori and Wilson on loan at the same time when they got the play off final. Villa had Tammy Abraham. You don’t want to waste your loans on players who’ll just make up the squad.
sometimes, you have to compliment young players with older player who know more.. A fine balance for sure but if the homework has been done properly, then its nealy always a decent result at the end.

Pritchard and Bailey are first team footballers who have made it. Broadhead is just swirling around in reserve football for Everton.

I can't see him being on any more than 15k and I think that's a stretch.

He’s almost certainly upped that but broadly before the new contract ( or possibly the one before that when at Burton) that would be about right I reckon. Now probably 12-15k but who knows, football is bonkers and Everton seem to be a mess.

Since when did he play for Watford!! I am miles out of touch with low level premier league stuff. Not sure what Wigan are playing at either, pair Broadhead and Keane and they will have a real threat. Maybe they are going to cash in on Keane?
