Isn’t he a winger ?Just a guess as he was left out of match day squad. But would fit us perfectly

Can’t agree there. He’s a completely different player to Simms and Stewart. And can play a deeper 10 role too and run off. Think the 3 of them, if Broadhead stayed fit, would be excellent to have here. Certainly not third choice based on one game
I agree in some points but what I was trying to say is that if you give a player a contract then it should be honoured weather that player is financially in need of the money doesn't really matter what is galling us the fact they owe players money for contracts they pit them on and now don't want to pay up or want them to leave and then pay them back over a number of years whilst spending money like its going out of fashion. Its not right and should be stopped in my opinion as they are buying players they can't even register as they will breach league rules it's laughable and makes a mockery of the systemI think they are taking a big gamble with their current approach as it could easily compound their financial problems.
Overall, I am a fan of the Barcelona model of ownership. The socios system is really how all football clubs should be run, otherwise they're not really clubs. The flaw in the model is that it seems that the presidency often goes to egotists who will do anything to cling on to power, such as willingly placing the club in financial jeopardy.
Despite my admiration for them, they have been doing increasingly odd things recently. The flogging of the rights to fund massive transfers is just one of them. You mentioned Braithwaite and that's another one of them. A player not really of their calibre signed as cover and put on a massive contract. While I agree that contracts should be honoured, Braithwaite is wealthy outside of football through his real estate interests in the States and could surely come to some agreement to help out an historic institution. My sympathy for him is limited.
I would take no pleasure from seeing Barcelona disappear but I do think that what is happening with them currently is yet another indicator that finances in football need to be more closely controlled.
Wigan got 5 striker likey be less game time there be 6 if they get BroadheadFor us he would be a great addition I can just see Everton thinking he will be better elsewhere with more game time.

Nixon reckons we have tried to sign cb but failed, reckon it could be the one up here?
strange we got 4 center backs Ballard, Wright, Batth, Alese unless one is goinghe’s saying it’s taking longer than expected, which tallies entirely with what prehab and Bob are saying.
Free agent center back
Or is under 21 or plays right back or holding midfieldstrange we got 4 center backs Ballard, Wright, Batth, Alese unless one is going

This would be my guess if its a freebie.Alfie Mawson?
I doubt we’ll be signing another centre back, already have signed 2 this summer, re signed Wright and have 2 more that can cover there.
Full back yeah, centre half, I doubt highly.
Could we be signing jamal lowe???
Equally Cirkin can clearly be considered as an option for one of the three spots. Potentially O’Nien and Winchester too though they’d probably be a less than favourable resort.I think there's a good chance we've taken a look at this league and decided 3 centre backs is the way forward. It gives us more protection at the back and allows us to get Simms and Stewart on the pitch at the same time. Wright and Batth are both in their 30's now so may well pick up a few more injuries or need that extra recovery time between games. Alese is in his first full season and is unlikely to have 40 games in him. A 5th centre back seems necessary in that context, and even more so if he has a bit of flexibility.
If 3 at the back is the way we are going then I'd like to see a proper Left wing back come in. Clarke has done well, but over 46 games I think his lack of defensive nous will get us in trouble unless we bring in a solid, defensive midfielder who can drop into the 3 when we are defending and have Ballard/Cirkin cover the full back positions.Equally Cirkin can clearly be considered as an option for one of the three spots. Potentially O’Nien and Winchester too though they’d probably be a less than favourable resort.
If we are to bring in another then they’d have to have a bit of flexibility as you say otherwise it would just feel like bad squad management.
