Adds height and brawn by the looks of him, strikers play a big part in defending corners and we now seem to have filled the squad with big lads as well as young and promising players. It’s a good mixture.
Good point about defending corners. We looked a bit weak there in pre season I thought. Dan Neil got rolled a couple of times for example, but he was picking up one of the big lads. As much as I like Dan, he isnt going to be remembered for his aerial dominance at set pieces.

He was poor in his defensive aerial duels according to stats I saw mind.

Ffs....Couldn't give a tinkers **** about his defensive duels....it's his offensive duels I'm interested in.....please don't come along with something negative about that it in a minute.

Well, it's not his strength and it didn't make great reading.

The point about his defensive duels was in response to someone raising it as a benefit of signing him. As it is, I misremembered, his defensive aerial duels are very good.

I seen it as a stat. An observation.

Didn't see you as being negative.

Yes,sorry mate...didn't mean to come over aggressive. Was just thinking what a good signing it was,and all of a sudden, there was negativity about it.
Apologies.

The more I look at it,I think it might be the best move we've made in a while. He is a seriously talented lad at this level....he's just what we need!
Can you see us playing 2 upfront? I think he'll probably need to wait until Stewart drops out of form.
