If we get Clark then we will be almost as strong as we were when we finished last season.
Ballard would replace Doyle.
Broadband may or may not be here.

Even with Clark we only have one LW now that McGeady has gone.

We are doing all the right things (Gooch/Patterson/Wright/Roberts) so I’m confident the next ‘new’ signings will be the right ones.
Clark looks like it will happen.
Rudoni probable.
It will be exciting when we get all the new lads in because it appears we are going for the right types.
I’m feeling more confident with our management team now than I have for ages and Alex Neil is doing all the right things.

I’m sure we will finish in the top half but where exactly I don’t know.
I do know we are going in the right direction.
I'd say stronger as the young lads have more experience now.

Strange one with Diamond. He was excellent for Harrogate but I get the feeling he won't be with us at the start of the season one way or the other.

They should be looking higher than L2 for him if it's a loan, I agree.
I think diamond is the one player that hasn't benefited from us being promoted, I think if we'd stayed in L1 he would have been given a chance however I think the championship is too big of a step and he will be loaned out again or sold

Winchester.

I really like the lad, just not convinced he's specialised enough for a particular position or adaptable enough for multiple roles.

I agree with this... I'm not convinced Winchester is Championship standard, I think he will find it hard to get a regular starting spot next season

My son is just getting into data analysis, just switched from an oil pipeline company to a hair dryer company! He is happy about that though as a lot more tidy boilers work in hair dryer companies for some reason.
I have a mate who is a scout and he mentioned Wan-Bissaka at MU, said that he had the best stats in the pl, but what the data did not show was that he spent most of his time on his arse, which suggested that he was usually out of position.
Good to see the club building up their scounting as well as data teams.

TIDY BOILERS.....now that's a term I haven't heard for a while. Was a favourite of a mate of mine who sadly died from covid. Happy memories of tidy boilers tho

Allways remembered that from Aud Weidersen Pet alongside people from Consett being called hillbillys by Dennis, hence my avatar.

I’m fascinated by stuff like this. It would be a dream career, if I wasn’t thick as **** :emoticon-0102-bigsm

It’d be interesting to see exactly what we’re looking for this summer, data wise.

I like the way Brentford signed Benrahma, where they found that he was getting into good positions regularly but wasn’t scoring the goals, so they saw something to work with.

I’d like to think we’re looking for similar.

That's a coincidence. Exact same reason I dont do any of the many jobs I'd like to do!
