can't help feeling there may be a little bias in there, and the kids are never going to make it sound like they are having a lousy time...same as any other player, we will make our minds up when he gets game time.

 

i think we will be reluctant to move on any player till Xmas.

 

The thing with these players is they need time to settle and get match fit and at that point we could have Stewart back and be close to the break / window. Probably need one in the window.

 

Assuming the next 3 games will be cancelled, we won't play again until 1st Oct. Cirkin might not miss any games and Stewart might only miss a handful

Well, the funeral is likely to be next Saturday, This weekend's games will absolutely get postponed. Midweek games? Not sure, but there surely won't be any games on the day of a state funeral

 

Will they shut pubs ? I’m not really into all this stuff tbh

 

No, assume not. It's all a bit inconsistent really. No good answer to all of this

 

I guess it’s not got much of a precedent which is strange in itself. I’m not a telly watcher and don’t really buy into this stuff so it honestly seems weird all the ma’am this and that but each to their own. I just don’t want to be bored and be forced into it all. The thing I keep thinking about is money. I presume it’ll change at some point and we’ll have jug a lugs scaring our kids. At least they’ll stop asking for money.,

Interesting that cheers. Some stuff already happened so looks like it’s on the money. Talking about money, it says it’ll cost billions. Don’t think it said pubs will shut and didn’t mention other stuff closed other than maybe tomorrow.

 

The games will be off on Saturday as well. Even the chumps that run English football won't get that wrong.

 

If the funeral is next Saturday games will be moved to Friday or Sunday.

 

I think all bar the funeral day games should carry on. It’s the family and friends that need time to grieve. None of us even knew her. Mind I’d take a few cancellations cos we have Stewart injured.

 

Pretty sure the 10 day period of mourning up to the funeral will state no sporting events in that period.

So if the funeral is Saturday they COULD rearrange for sunday. But I reckon they just postpone all 3 rounds of fixtures and push them to next year. They could feasibly decide to extend the season to accommodate considering its every team in the country affected
