Remember, u21 players don't need to be registered - so Michut, Ba, Cirkin, Bennette, Neil etc don't count towards the 25 yet.

Seeing as you have to have a minimum of 15 players in a squad it's actually more likely we'll need to "register" a couple of them anyway to meet that

Pm'd this back in July. The lad who kept telling me about the French player sent me the message from France in French. I translated 'attaquant' as striker when it means more like attack minded. It's good enough for me <laugh>


"There's not been much action in the PL and I think there'll be some late movement.

That's where we're looking, as far as I know, which is encouraging although one lad keeps telling me we're signing a striker from the French league. He won't say anything else so I'm not posting about it."

Attaquant would be a forward/striker as I know it (playing in local French clubs in my teenage years), so your translation would be accurate.

So either he wasn't talking about michut, or he got his position wrong. Hopefully he was talking about someone else and we're getting another surprise signing from the French league!

@Prehab26 Just watched his interview on safc.com. Now I am no 'columbo' but he said the president convinced me to sign because they are developing younger players and lots of clubs were in for him.I am going to say Kyril has worked his magic here. Do you think he personally speaks to these players? The same with 'Ba'.
