Grrr I want our new good players in...

Choudry and Broadhead were probably our targets, let's hope we have back-ups as good soon..

I thought/hoped that people had a better understanding of mental health and how difficult it can be for some people nowadays.

It’s so disappointing to me to see all the comments about Broadhead and his apparent anxieties, lack of self belief and confidence being described as ‘pathetic’, ‘weak’ and ‘bottling it’.

You can choose the easy option in life without it being a mental health thing.

I think it’s unfair to suggest people aren’t aware that mental health problems exist, or that they don’t take them seriously purely based on comments made following something our manager said, which alluded to him not fancying the move.

I agree with this assessment. I am fully aware of mental health issues and the impact it has however, that does not mean that I can not feel that NB clearly bottled the move here. He did. It was there for him. He didn't back himself to oust our current front 2. That is mentally weak in terms of competitive sport. Its also why the most resilient rise to the top, on the vast majority of times.

Have you heard if anything else is close mate?

My gut feel is that Rob Page has told him needs to be playing every week and scoring goals to have a chance of making the WC Squad. He wouldn't have started every week here

If he scores a lot he could make the Wales team, they're not exactly blessed ...

... unfortunately for him I can't see Wigan attacking too much.

Don't know if it's already been said on here but the potential Fleetwood move for Jack Diamond is on loan. Perhaps we haven't given up on him yet but as Sunderland progress, is he always going to be one step behind?

Or kept on our books in case we are relegated?
