But then AN said they were close to a deal at the weekend. I honestly think it more to do with Wigan coming in for him on loan, like I said earlier, closer to home , be first choice striker, world cup years and if the talk was true about wages he'll still get his Everton wage packet, I can understand why he's done it and why AN maybe a bit pissed off if he thought the deal was done

I've not been clamouring for him tbh, he's not ideal to play with Stewart imo.

He'd have been a great addition to the squad, not necessarily the team.

I honestly am over it but I think he would have been a fantastic addition to our squad. What if Stewart or Simms gets injured?
I think he would have been massive plus to our team. But it is what it is. Let's see who we sign instead as we will def sign another attacking player.

Really don't understand a loan when he is this age, and has very little experience in men's football.

He's not going to break in to Everton's first team at 25 next season.

A permanent move should have been his only consideration if it was us or someone else.

I suspect your right, but Jamie Vardy didn't make the prem until he was 27.
