It’s actually the “ordinary resident” test for NHS access - and even the government site about this concedes you can be ordinarily resident in more than one country. Having a home in the UK available for immediate use is a big help in the test. Anyway worth looking at the link so you’re familiar with it. I’ll try to find it.
Also the same reason why a lot of Southerners move up to Hull. I know of a case were a Hackney dustman, who bought his council house for a song, sold it for a huge profit, took early redundancy from Hackney council and moved up to Cottingham. He paid just short of £350k for his house, ten years ago and either side of him lives an airline pilot and a company director, both still working ( at the time) The ex dustman isn't ( or wasn't then) 60 yet. That's the North South divide for you.
There are a few round may way who did the same. One told his wife to pick the kitchen of her dreams and have it fittedand used that as his justification to buy a Jag. Which shows how much funny he had sloshing about after selling his council flat in a high rise block.
Lukaku is expected to put pen to paper on a £98m transfer to Chelsea later today. Hope this news prevents you from self harming...
Vietnam is a beautiful country with beautiful weather and beautiful people and a place I'm considering though Goa is top of my list at present with Costa Rica not far behind. Belize gives pretty good retirement visas for Brits.
