I feel the same but it can turn around so quickly and the fact were as worried as we are is a good sign that we still care. I want to be proven wrong, wake up in the morning to 5 quality signings in the positions we need. The more days that go by the worse the mood gets though.

Yeh possibly counter productive. I guess people will find a way to spin what is said however they want it spun. And if they can't find a way to spin it negatively they'll instead work out what wasn't said and spin that as a negative instead.

I reckon that is exactly what would happen. Every time Johnson speaks we end up with loads of interpretations dependant upon peoples disposition. Right now the only thing they can do is their job, which should be kept behind the scenes. The constant clamour for updates and information is maddening, because when some does appear it is read or heard in lots of ways. Words dont cut the mustard mid transfer window, actions do. Let them get on with what their JD requires of them. If they fail to deliver a good side then they can be criticised and maybe then explain a few things. In the meantime Johnson will keep having to front up, it is his job to talk and pre and post match after all and I am sure he is ugly enough to cope with it.

I think it'd be shock more than anything else. I'd need a defribulator! Any half decent side would go at us out wide and expose midfielders playing out of position.

It's all well judging the window on the 1st September we've got 5 league games to play by then if we don't start well it could be the difference at the end of the season .
Then we'll all be saying imagine if we weren't having to play Winchester at rb or Neil at lb for the first 4 games

People have wrote the window off comments all over about it, and having a great start of the season isnt the be all and end all, plenty of clubs over the seasons have proved that, I'd rather get the right players in, instead of getting players in to just fill the gaps, will we get them player ? Who knows, but I trust the club to get them in, and certainly won't be going nuts until the window shuts, what would you say if we had a great player waiting for lb but couldn't come in until the end of the window but then we turned them down for a player like mcfadzen just do we could have a lb for the start of the season ?

Not by most. Kirchoff got grief due to the spurs game but the players were generally welcomed with open arms. Unlike when they left

I honestly don't remember people being too thrilled to see Kone and Khazri sign, most people had never heard of them.

Cant say I've read every comment , but we should never be going into the final pre season game with some positions having zero players available.
If Donald was Still in charge there would be hell on over this

Relaxed here. The kids will be able to step up. And frankly I'd rather spend another season in league one than go down the same route again - signing old farts on top whack who can't get the job done.

I keep getting the strange feeling that people concerned with the transfer situation are pushing others to be concerned.

Can't they just be happily concerned on their own ...

Its the herd mentality man, suddenly loads are crapping themselves, we have pulled out of a deal for a full back I had never heard of and now the world is ending. Need to stockpile more food and fresh water

They hadn't but trusted Sam Durley to his record and recognised they filled holes in the side.

What I can't understand is, last season people were saying "get the kids in, they're better than whats out there - at least give them a chance!" Now the club is giving these kids a go and its now "we're gonna get hammered off Wigan!" who have some of those same players who weren't deemed good enough last season! Yes the team needs extra bodies in and behind the scenes will know that. The scenario at the minute is not ideal but we have to give this new way of doing things time to come to fruition. Yes Speakman said they had lists for both scenarios at the end of last year but we didn't have Harvey in place at that time. What if he came in and "tweaked" that list just a bit? Instead of going after player A who showed all the stats at the top of his game but Harvey reckoned he could be problematic or slighly injury prone but this other player had the same stats and is a better player? Its all ifs and buts at the minute and yes we need to get out of this league as quick as possible (ideally at the end of this season!!) but instead of getting on the club's back lets just sit back and wait to see what happens. KLD has spent money putting a new team in with a new way of doing things - how about giving it a chance before saying its ****?

Fair enough that is what you have read, I've not spent loads of time reading comments
I can only speak for myself I'm not writing the window off of course not there is still 5 weeks left
Its just frustrating that we've so much work to do with 1st game next Saturday that is all

Try debating, it was you that mentioned moaning in the first place, and TBH its not just moaning, I am not quite sure what you call it, Iwantitnowism? Iamnothappystampmyfeetism? getthebedsheetsoutism ?
