thing is, we know exactly what wyke needs to score and to be honest, his running into position in the box was not his forte, if the ball fell somewhere directly in his path he was likely to score...as long as there was no one in front of the ball, he never had to take a touch, he never had to go one on one, i doubt his 'style' will have changed since he went there.

LJ's taught him where to run now though. Without trying to patronise our fans, he's added value, but not 'money' value, you can say value without it meaning money, not that our fans would ever understand that semantic nuance.

i dont think he did in honesty, i think it was more the return of geads and LJ getting better balls into him...look at the goal in the play off semi that stewart scored, he was actually further away than wyke and behind him but managed to cut across him and meet the ball while wyke was still a yard or two short.

Wykes movement improved hugely. He changed his angles and attacked the space/ball much better. Johnson’s biggest achievement.

well, you saw something i missed then...take away geads assists and his goal tally drops a fair few, had his movement improved he would have had even more imho as there were plenty of balls into the box.

I think his goals and McGeady’s assists were down to training ground work. You could see it. I’m jot saying I rate Wyke. In actually fact I think leaving Johnson and McGeady will affect Wyke because they got the maximum out of him. It’s probable the next lot will find him to be bang average.

For me Wyke was no better before or after LJ's arrival, to think that he somehow transformed him into a goal machine is utter fantasy. He had a purple patch but normal service was resumed long before the season ended.

I think Wyke did improve under Johnson, - he started moving towards the ball a lot more and making a bit more space for himself but towards the end of the season he either forgot or couldn't be bothered and seemed to revert to fouling opponents and falling over far to often.

Why do so many fans keep asking nixon stuff, clearly he doesnt know much his answers are so vague and open

Is it any different to some fans asking the "YouTube" lot questions, or them podcasters questions either regarding transfers and such? Ha probably not

The only thing Wyke needs to score is Aiden McGeady, and it's not happening.
