Does anyone know if this lad who started the thread over the road has any credibility like, never noticed him post anything of the like before. Seems pretty dramatic to name four players off the bat like that.

I think @Prehab26 has implied he might not be a million miles off in what he’s said.

I have said very little about it. That's been an intentional decision. There is at least one other person who has also been quiet on it. It's for good reason. None of those deals have been signed but discussions ongoing. Being very specific like the OP can be risky. You'll be surprised who monitors forums, from all types of angles.

Moving away from that, it's also very very risk as it will be easy to track down the leak. Everyone would like to be very specific all the time but there are reasons why myself and others simply can not.

It’s already started because there’s crack on Twitter about wright now, and that all started because of that post over the road

Yeh - one chap last night posted it and somebody commented that its Wigan that are after Wright. At that moment I searched for Bailey Wright's name on twitter and did a few combinations including Wright and WAFC etc, and nobody else had even hinted he was leaving us.

Now this morning a few fan sites are linking him to Wigan and I 100% reckon that's simply down to one guy saying it was happening on twitter.

On first showing, if Doyle is indicative of the quality of player we are looking to bring in, then it'll be an excellent season. If these 4 come in, then everything is shaping up nicely. Lovely blend of youth, experience and ability.

i have absolutely no idea if any of those mentioned were ever in the frame or even looked at by the club....but, if it turns out that it was the case that they were all close but it all fell apart because some feckwit just HAD to prove he knew summit then there needs to be a lot more than a kicked @rse, there are certain things that need to be kept within the club walls.

Especially if it gets back to the club who the source is - he's well and truly getting bollocked which will in turn could create a domino effect and ensure that the person who posted won't receive any more info

Well done mate. I think the vast majority of us on here realise the predicament in which you,and others,can find yourself in the circumstances you describe.
Rest assured,I'm sure the afore mentioned vast majority are very grateful for any info. you are able to provide and appreciate the effort you make with it.
For those of us with no insight into the club,any perspective you can put on things is always welcome,particularly as we know if it's coming from you,it's a genuine post,not some speculative wind up,even if it eventually turns out not to be well founded or not to come to any fruition.
Keep it up marra....it's valued!
