I noticed on Instagram a couple weeks back the presentation is absolutely fantastic, there’s been a lot put into that area of the club.

The matchday presentation on there is at least on par with anything in the Premier League.

This new regime are a top to bottom outfit and I love it after years of mishaps.

I know there'll be some who'll say we don't deserve all this ...

... bollocks to them all <laugh>

Damm straight mate.

Started with infrastructure, investment that was a significant improvement.

Recruitment and Data plan that identifies top talent that maybe are not getting the game time or have a had a tougher time of it.

Fit in the culture. It's always been patience now we are reaping the rewards.

Interesting
Lee Johnson added: “Leon is a really interesting player – he’s a top prospect with good ability, agility and quality – so we are looking forward to adding him to the squad and working with him. He’s a hungry player that has shown a strong attitude and desire to come to Sunderland and grow with us, which is exactly what we want.”
I`m sure I read that he was loaned out to Union Berlin with an option to buy but was injured and returned to Bayern. Someone has said today that Union have now paid the agreed fee to Bayern and loaned him straight out to us in the hope of making a quick profit.

Thats exactly what’s happened. Reading on Twitter with lads linked to Bavarian clubs etc they had option to buy expiring today, clearly the fee we’ve agreed option to buy was bigger than that.

The ‘buy’ element from what I gather is only applicable if we go up, which is again really savvy by the club not stretching budget if we stay in this league.

Foresight. At Sunderland AFC. Who ever thought they’d see it?

To be fair you are saying patience, but the new owners have only been in place for about 9 months. It more like breakneck speed but with Lewis Hamilton at the wheel rather than Frank Spencer.

At away games I'm regularly berated by fans saying it's all unfair that we can spend more, blah blah blah.

TBH, this is our 4th Div 3 season and we're still pulling in 30,000 ...

... surely that support, home and away, counts for something.

If it wasn't there KLD wouldn't have bought the club, we deserve it.

Totally agree ..now they can focus on the playing side, as the back office appears a much more professional and competent outfit. One that can support young players moving to a new environment or convince top clubs that we can improve their your talent. In nearly 50 years I haven't seen the club better positioned to reap the benefits ..

True but it didn't stop some people whinging, day after day, saying it was no different to the last owners.

What they have done so far is actually quite jaw dropping for a 3rd tier club.

We get good gate receipts but the running cost of the stadium and academy alone swallows those.

The way recruitment has been handled quietly, effectively, efficiently is absolutely top drawer.

We are 5 games into the season and I’m already convinced they’ve got a list ready for if and when we go up.

These cats know exactly what they want to do, and how to do it.

And, they are ****ing doing it. I’m close to being proud of my club again here.

What they’ve done has already lifted the mood in the SOL, I was convinced that dark thick atmosphere was with us forever.

We are like a Phoenix club here. It’s a brand new football club and it’s wonderful to see.
