To get the thread back on track. Looking at the recruitment so far, for the first time in so long it looks to me like we are building on solid foundations rather than sand.

Yep I agree, but not all the young'uns will work out, but I would wager most of them will. All are pacy with good ball control, this side could be together for a few seasons.

Promotion must be a possibility and we have the January window to top the squad up for the 2nd half of the season push on.

The xGA table is in reverse. The teams appearing at the top of that one are the worst. Wimbledon are second best in the xGA away but it’s only based on one game for them.

Lucky buggers, I am 375 miles away, but just completing a job application, and if I get it I will be coming home after 21 years away (not sure our lass realises I will be at every home game and reserve game and some of the away games )

Lewandowski did say he wanted to leave for a new challenge, playing second fiddle to Big Ross Stewart probably isn't what he expects though (and he's Polish not German but close enough)

I asked the lad over the road this morning about the Bayern kid and he replied that he was over this week and is a winger. From his reply it wasn’t clear if its close it is or whether he was just over for a look around mind.

Almost a full family day out today. Me and my youngest son are taking cousin and his grandson. My oldest is taking the grandson with their new ST's (missed Wigan due to holiday commitments) and middle so is going with wife, father in law, mother in law, granddaughter and grandson, who is 8 today. Spoke to him this morning and he is buzzing.
