Well that would be a shame. I think he could do a good job for us further up the pitch. McGeady isn't going to play every game, and Denver,as an alternative would be good. I think the lad is a nice footballer, not as a defender, but going forward from the left side. Mind you,he's got to be proven fit.
Hopefully he'll see sense, bin his agent and do the right thing. If his aspirations are Championship football,he can do that with us,he doesn't need to move.
Not for me, doesn't have the skills/finesse to replace McGeady or any other winger for that matter.

well, if he goes good luck to the lad but i honestly hope any compen includes the 'extras' the club has allowed him since his former contract ran out, i am pretty sure (although obviously cannot be certain) that the club have looked after him during his injury and recovery period, doctors, physio, facilities etc and it would be a bit much to have that thrown back into their faces.

don't mind hume like, has a bit pace about him and can get a good cross in, obviously some work required on his defensive duties (if/when needed) and a bit on his final ball...if he is sitting on agents advice then he needs to get rid as he is almost in a far worse position now than he was, injured and needs to show he has recovered fully and did not really stand out in games enough to attract buyers.

Yeah, it does sound as if someone, most likely his agent, has messed him up...

Pity I like the lad (he was a bit if a scapegoat to some when he first made the team). I always thought there was a decent player there, when he grew up, got bigger/stronger, and defended better... which imho he was starting to do.

Still if we now have cover for the LB position, the ball is very much in his court... we are no longer desperate and he cannot hold us to ransom as it were.

That's Broadhead isn't it? He's already with us.

aye, see the previous post, i had a mare...saw the 'done deal' and got all excited then went to double check as saw 'monday' in the post and realised it was from the 16th ffs...

someone shoot me

edit: i now officially hate faceache for posting old news!!!

Football Insider reporting its a 4 year deal and a free transfer, despite Bielsa hinting it was a loan yesterday (they specifically say that)

Interesting they say he started his medical yesterday but no mention on whether he's passed it.
