What I can’t understand is why this new recruitment team can’t buy a quality player from the next level up for the right money, only players from the bargain basement, they aren’t going to be much use if we get promoted.

Probably half those on here moved over cos it’s less negative tbh. The truth is likely inbetween. We haven’t done enough at this point quite clearly and I suspect there are errors in our processes but there is also time for them to turn it around and we’ve lost nowt yet.

We own them both. Proof that the recruitment team can sign good players from above. Free yes, but in the eyes of some that is a good thing. We probably needed 8 or 9 players, never going to buy 9 for a fee.

It’s also been proven that you can get out of this league without spending.
