I always get nervous when someone who actually knows what he is talking about joins in, as my frankly astounding levels of bullshit are likely to be exposed.

Is pure risk equity essentially a gift?

Pure equity is 100% risk capital with no special strings attached such as a preferred or guaranteed return, or interest accruing thereon.

P.S. I only give the impression of somebody that knows what he’s talking about. I’m really as thick as pig ****.

It was good we didn't lose any more of our best players at the end of window having lost Smithies, Ned, Robinson and Perch. But it is hardly cheering to hear the Club, through Hoos, now saying the earlier deadline has meant we have to use the extended loan window to bring in the players we need, when not long ago loans were described as dead money, and we weren't loaning in many. Seems like we are not such an attractive Club for players anymore, no doubt because we aren't paying as much as our rivals. Certainly hope we manage to strengthen the defense and ideally bring in a new striker before the end of August, and without losing any more of our best players. I suspect we'll be conceding more goals, scoring less, and in the relegation scrap near the end of the season again otherwise.

What I'm trying (and failing, obviously) to get across is that, whilst the owners have made massive mistakes, they have paid for it themselves and are trying to make amends. They could have walked away, demanded repayment of their loans (or however much they could get) and left the club in administration, or worse. Loans to equity is not a loophole, it's football philanthropy.

Well with TF gone we will soon see how robust the paperwork shuffle really was?

Remember we are only told what they want us to hear . Loans to equity is necessary in football because it’s a madness business

Never worried about how it is covered up
A £ is a£ if a failed businessman wants to waste his own money then great

Our club however as I have said for many years will be effected by the meddling and so it came to pass. A lot of people brought into this at the start ... some didn’t

He's not saying he's tired of fans' concern though is he? He's saying he's tired of all the **** about Freeman. He said about a week ago that Freeman wasn't for sale and he is now saying that all offers have been rejected. If Freeman now goes you will be entitled to moan.
I'm not really offended or anything but I don't know why you keep misunderstanding me and putting words in my mouth. I'm not even talking about the Freeman issue. If he goes he goes, if he stays he stays. I can see that Tony is saying that Freeman won't go. I'm saying it's the tone he's taken with the fan. The Tweet was a direct reply to a fan. So therefore, in that context, he's quite clearly saying he's tired of fans and anyone going on about it.

Is Clint a free agent?

I'd have him back in a heartbeat on a pay per play basis - if he was up for it. Throw in a coaching role to sweeten the deal

Even 10 games worth would bring some nous and guidance to the defence

That's where i think we are at right now
I wouldn't be opposed to that. He has a lot to offer still. Obviously, he's not the player he was 5 years ago but he won't be that off the pace and will still be better than some of the other defenders we have on the books.

Didn't Clint join the Barton revolution at Fleetwood? He retired from playing at end of last season.

Yes he is learning at the feet of the footballing philosopher thug.

Just read that Fulham have spent over £100m in this window, a season’s PL money spunked away. Wouldn’t it be a shame if they were relegated?

That’s the gamble Stanley
The way Fulham play football I can see them finishing in the top ten as could Wolves
Those clubs want to stay

It is a huge gamble if you only last the one season. I would take it of course, and I would have probably made all the mistakes TF did as well, except appointing Redknapp and allowing Barton into the club.

But clubs are going to die with the way this business is run. Not all these teams who spend hundreds of millions can stay in the PL and bank on being instantly promoted back if they drop.

Agree and what we are seeing is the cash getting rapidly silly already in the championship it’s not going to be reversible imo. Clubs with heritage like ours which are run by fools could slide
Hence why this is crunch time
This is it
Have to get the club solid ASAP
