Who says he has a chronic back injury?

Three league games without Chair and without a win but he’s not good enough to get back in the team?
Cifuentes said it was a chronic back injury..."bruising to the bone "....tbh a term I do not fully recognise....but still.

And no he would not walk back into the team ....and nor should he or nor should any player

It’s not a chronic injury. And Marti Cifuentes isn’t a doctor. It could be a long term injury though.

No one is saying he would walk back into the team, but fully fit he would be in the team which isn’t winning, surely. I imagine we got Dembele and/or Madsen to allow us to sell Chair before his contract runs out. His market value is higher than those two combined, but only if we sell him quick. I’ll miss him, always gives everything and has frequently been the only bright spot over the last few seasons. Bit of a twat hitting people with rocks though.

Other that disagreeing with your definition of the word chronic...which to me and the dictionary means "persistent or long term"...
I agree with everything else you said.

He could be a very saleable asset.

In the ( nearly ) words of Elsa in Frozen

Let him go

Come off it, you know a chronic disease is something like diabetes or rheumatoid arthritis, not a bruise. And if he does have a chronic disease which means he can’t play, no one will buy him….

Maybe he's doing a bit of dealing on the side now he's a crim...

chronic

1.) One of the stronger strains of marijuana. It is actually NOT used to describe just any sort of good weed, there is a certain type, usually indica, that is labled chronic. It won 3rd place at the 1994 High Times Cannabis Cup.

Alot of those were academy and development and fringe players.

An real indication that the new regime thought that the previous regime idea about the academy was not up to scratch.

Our best young academy players were being poached by the big clubs.

Our back up plan seemed to acquire players that were released by bigger clubs as not quite good enough ( e.g. Eze).

The new " broom" had a real clear out.
Might not make much saving on money...but maybe set up a new mindset

Birmingham are splurging cash. Buying promotion

I do not believe the 1 million...we don't disclose..I would guess/hope more like 2 million

Dykes...he is going to a club that will get promotion (?)
His wages will be up on what we will offer
He wants a new start.
He won't be an automatic starter for us...I guess
He thinks he will score goals..
And get back in Scotland squad.

From club point of view
He is 28.
We need a new start too
His scoring record is going down each year.
Frey is looking as good as Dykes in the blunderbuss no9 position.
We really need an agile striker...is that Celar...not sure it is ...maybe Kolli...

Yes I see it...another poor year for dykes...and hecwill go for nothing to get his salary off our books

The problem for me is that however good (or mediocre) a player is once they are in the final year of the contract a club has to sell for whatever it can get. I'm not going to enter the debate how good he has been as it's been a while since I've been able to watch them live to make up my own mind on him so let him go and good luck to him.
