I don't really know what a Pep player is but I believe that Eze has the ability to play in just about any team in world football. A class act.
I suppose any top player would be a Pep player, but I think Eze's comfort on the ball and overall ability would mean he could fit in well at City.
65 pages of not a lot if anything to benefit the club and help us survive the season. Clubs with restraints in obscure **** holes in this country are having more success in the transfer market. We are West London and cannot attract anyone.
Yeah, plus he is expensive, can be improved and strikes me as quite compliant - a polite, quiet lad. All Pep hallmarks. Strikes me though that City are in panic buy mode. If they really wanted a long term replacement for de Bruyne they wouldn’t have waited until he got injured to look for one. Perhaps they think (as I do) that he can’t be replaced like for like.
The replacement is Foden, he just hasn't played there enough , but now more through luck than judgement he can show just how good he is. City have just brought in Doku for £55 mill, an incredibly fast and skillful winger to replace Mahrez. Has had quite a few injuries over the last 2 seasons but if he stays fit he'll be a sensation. They're likely to go back in with a 2nd bid for the Wolves midfielder aswell, and if successful, that will put an end to the Eze rumours, at least for this season !
Think our ‘transfer department’ needs a pep talk! It’s seems it’s all about players leaving…… Isn’t there anyone coming in besides category 2 write offs?
You are still not getting it I am afraid. We cannot afford anyone in unless some one leaves and gets us some money either in transfer money...or salary.
Indeed. People don’t get how brassic we are and that’s before giving longer contracts than we’d want to to Colback and Cook in the hope it keeps us afloat this year. Chair is the only player who can command a serious fee so unless we get lucky with Eze we need him to go, which is rather heartbreaking but it’s what it is.
I like the way your handle, name is directly aligned with our transfer budget Didley, I thought of changing mine to “F*ck all in the pot “
It is all so sad when you think of the good players and teams that we have had over the years. Now we cannot even complete with teams in the lower divisions in terms of accracting players
Teams loan players out for two reasons, to get rid of them or to develop them. Over the years we have picked up a few up and coming players on loan, Kyle Walker and Tim 5 vowels being the best I can remember. My concern is that we are no longer seen as a club that develop players, as a result we will always just end up with the rejects. Rhe irony is we sent all ours to Wycombe to develop!
