I’m guessing we’re leaving it as late as possible to see what (old) strikers are left in the shelf. Surely somewhere in the world there’s someone talented and young, sat on a bench prepared to step up into a team where they’re guaranteed a start and a chance to raise their profile.

And they get to play with Andre Dozzell....surprised there's not a line of black cabs dropping off potential candidates at the gates of HQ

That would require actual scouting

We're that to be true, that's potentially 10 or 11 months of the owners not having to shell out £1m pcm!
We are a selling club!
They’ve got lots of money so I won’t be losing any sleep about their financial positions. I would probably lose sleep if we lost Chair and didn’t replace him.

After all the xenophobes, hard of thinking mouth breathers, and the thick as **** tax fiddlers voted for Brexit, freedom of movement has gone so the chances of getting young players from Europe to a small club here who haven't played for their countries a visa to play here is nigh on impossible

In my very limited experience of very wealthy folk, they don't chuck money around and watch the pennies so I think they are very much bothered by what QPR costs them.

I'd take any Brighton youngster on loan happily, with their record of bringing in talented young players !

where did Richards come from?
Originally Hammersmith like me lol, and 6 years with Fulham and then 4 years at City. Only 1 at Brighton before they realised he wasn't good enough and they could palm him off to some mugs, namely us ! I'd have higher hopes of someone that's actually come through Brighton's youth team or someone they'd had time with to improve.

I'd love for us to try and work out a loan deal for Spence from Spurs. I'm sure his wages are stupid, but jeez he was superb on loan at Forest which helped them get promoted. Hasn't had a kick since going to Spurs and won't this season, a cheeky offer to pay 20% of his wages for 1 season surely wouldn't hurt !

Another one with a serious attitude problem, really don't need that in our situation...

He seemed to be alright at Forest with the team mates and manager. Maybe he got a bit big-headed with the move to Spurs, but may well appreciate gametime anywhere at the moment. We don't have hardly any match winners in our squad and players who can produce something out of nothing, he certainly did that season at Forest. If a loan deal could be done, I'd take him like a shot
