The original thread seems to have descended into a playground pissing contest, randomly interspersed with a hefty dose of bullying, name calling and discussion regarding rumours that were in fact manufactured by those discussing them. Is it time for another one, particularly as any other thread relating to a transfer gets merged with the pages of infantile drivel that it is currently constructed from? Who knows, maybe some of those who are continually begged to sign up might actually do so if the content that they were looking for was actually present.

Dan, in my opinion, you have pushed too far. Having a giggle is one thing but the immaturity is shining through. If there is no transfer news and you are bored, drift over into the Chat threads. We don't need solid structure, but it can go too far and then when someone decides to sensibly start a new one, you dive in there too. Sometimes it is best to just duck out.

You could easily just do it in a new thread.


I enjoy your posts and we have some banter, but if the boot was on the other foot, I'm sure you would be pissed. Try and think of the majority of people and the job the mods have to do. It's about a few hundred people not five or six.

Decides to sensibly start a new one?! There's no need to start a new one, people weren't stopping actual rumours being posted in the old one, there was just literally nothing going on so it went off topic for a few hours. Hotbovril decided to take a particular moral stand so, in a scream and cry for attention (hence the picture), built his soapbox in the form of a new thread. What purpose was there of making a new thread other than to look down upon a couple of hours of off topic conversation last night and try to assert his superiority over everybody who dares to waver from specific subject matter (of which, last night, there was none)? The rumour thread has not been carried on into this morning except by people who fancy a moan. You can guarantee, like literally every other time this has happened, as soon as a new rumour comes up then it'll go back to being the way it was. This thread is nothing more than an arrogant stand to prove how much more mature he is than everybody else - and clearly by your comment of "the immaturity is shining through", you're choosing to go the same way. I expected better of you than to attempt a slant at my age.

Gillingham keeper Paolo Gazzaniga has been linked to 3 PL clubs, of which we are one.

He has not travelled with their squad on their pre-season training camp in North-East France.

Dan, I like you and I won't get into a tit for tat. Wish I hadnt posted now. I'll be big enough to say that and move on.
