Things tend to get bigger than they are on Twitter, some people posting like its a done deal but its only a rumour. The 'done deal' tweets get re-tweeted and then it just balloons. Especially when big clubs are involved, mostly Liverpool fans tweeting at the moment.

I wouldn't get too excited yet. Twitter has been responsible for the death of Margaret Thatcher on several occasions.

Gaston isn't actually demanding huge wages, he's on a modest wage at Bolonga and he'd get a rise here and still be within our budget.

It's the transfer fee which is the stand out bit.
