I've just read that he asked to leave as he wants to return to the London area. Don't know if this is accurate, but if it is true it explains why Watford are so confident that they have their man.

Me too! Just read the club statement so we've lost Kaboul. We must do everything we can to hang on to Kone, but this news has just made it even more difficult.

Just been reading up on him he is from Derry and was part of Northern Ireland youth teams then switched alligience to republic of Ireland - please not again ffsDon't think 3.5 would even get him
