The Black Cats boss has kicked his transfer plans into gear following his arrival at the Stadium of Light to replace Sam Allardyce, moving to secure the signatures of Papy Djilobodji, Donald Love, Paddy McNair and Adnan Januzaj. WANT MORE? >> Sunderland transfer news | Crystal Palace transfer news And it seems that the Scot is not yet done, with reports claiming that Burke has emerged as a target. The 19-year-old has been in excellent for Forest of late, and has already netted this season. There's half a story this I pad is crap
aye, but he's as good as gone permanently mate. his 3yr contract with us expires end of next season. maybe we can sell him to sheff wed for 50p.
Lad called Oliver Burke about 19 years old at Forest looks a bit tasty reminds me of a very young Gareth Bale but I don't think he is ready for prem yet Edit didn't see the earlier post
sheff wed must be paying the bulk, at least. i don't know what he was on at our gaff but presume he was at the lower end of the wage scale. i'm guessing, but his, bridcutt and gomez' combined wages must be worth one 'quality' wage.
just read that tonight. 2 OGs tonight, inc a thumping header. who needs Vergini when you've got Duffer of St Patrick. Blackburn are having a mare like. Owen Coyle looks like first 'major' mangerial casualty of the season..... or has he already been sacked?
This is a good read and points out what most of us have been saying about priority signings in key areas http://rokerreport.sbnation.com/2016/8/17/12515392/safc-transfers-what-have-we-got-what-do-we-need
Talking to my mate who is a Forest fan at the moment, he says the lad is good but can't pass to save his life. Good prospect but only that at this stage. On Assombalonga he says that he is far too good for the Championship and he would be a great signing for any premier league club. The lad knows what he is talking about too.
I would question that, mate. I've seen a fair bit of Assombalonga and I couldn't even imagine him playing for a top 6, premier league club. I think your mate is going a little overboard. He's definitely got something about him and I would welcome him at Sunderland as a good back up striker.
Sunderland have been credited with an interest in Tottenham Hotspur's Tom Carroll, whose contract situation at White Hart Lane remains uncertain
He goes every week, is usually a very good judge of player. I have never seen him play so can't comment.
Britt Assombalonga and Davide Zappacosta... SAFC clearly attempting to make some extra money on the side with shirt sales with their names on!
