Whilst beautiful you’ll have to try and get up the right hand side of the lake through bardolino, garda and malcesine you can get the boat here for limone. Called speedies The son speaks perfect English and he will then take you up to riva del garda. Long day it is and it gets very hot so keep well watered up
We are there in a months time, been a few times over the years but not been for around 10 years now so looking forward to it

Had a holiday to Kefalonia booked for a while, we were supposed to go last year but it fell through last minute. It's where we got married so it means something to us. It's also my wife's 40th while we're there.

Last week and both of the kids have been sick, one of them multiple times on separate occasions hopefully finishing today and the other a couple of times finishing a few days ago.

Pray for me. I don't care if I'm sick once I'm there I just want to get through the trip without vomiting in the airport or on the plane.

Travel agent rang this week to tell us the hotel room which we booked in July last year to be sure we had a lakeside balcony room in Sirmione, Lake Garda, has been double booked and is no longer available to us, the alternative offered was crap so that's us waiting for our full refund and our holiday down the crapper.
We've planned this like a military operation booked trains and hotel in London as going by train all for nothing.
To say we're cheesed off dossent get close.

That's awful mate. Sorry for holiday loss and hope you get full refund without problems.

Absolute disgrace things like this.

‘double booked’ means ‘someone paid more’, shouldn’t be allowed.

You see some of these exotic holidays can be 5/6k per couple
You book and pay 1 year in advance to secure that great deal
However the company sell or double book your holiday and give you a full refund
Nevertheless you’ve lost all your interest on the 5/6k and have to pay more for the same holiday
And the government think there doing you a favour by making sure the holiday company gives you a full refund with no compensation
The system stinks

This happened to us a few years ago, they just said this is your alternative or your money back which means we have fulfilled our contract. I went mental and in the end they offered a mansion that was double the price if we put £250 towards it.
