Terrible that Cumbrian, as you had your transport booked, did you not fancy booking somewhere in Lazise or Bardolino both beautiful little towns near Sirmione. Or even Malcesine higher up the lake? I am sure you would have considered everything, I am gutted for you.
Made it to Kefalonia, little fella was sick on the plane but only once and my wife handled it so expertly I don't think anyone noticed. Don't care what happens now we've made it here.
Probs too late to rebook at such a popular place, but the Sirena in Malcesine is right over the lake, is run by the family that owns it. Breakfast is basic continental. The drinks are reasonably priced. Surrounded by good restaurants. I never bother looking at other hotels when booking. Malcesine is old with winding lanes, beautiful walks in either direction. My favourite place for a holiday. (Also handy for buses and train, but steep climb into Malcesine town).
I'm off there a week on Wednesday Sandy. I've not been for around 10 years but went a few times before that
Has anyone done the Aspire Lounge at Newcastle? Will the kids be ok in their footy tops? Dress code seems quite stricked but I wouldn’t think it would really apply to unders 10s.
Cheers mate. They can always put their jackets on if needs be. For some reason they’ve decided they want to wear the new away tops to travel in.
Going to Lanzarote in couple of weeks, much needed break. Mind the cost for parking at the airport is ridiculous from last year for 7 nights.
No football tops or tracksuits. Saw someone refused entry once because him and the bairn had mag tops on, they'd booked as well he was going light.
Cheers. It’s just the kids but think I’ll tell them to wear something else just in case. It says no shorts on the email but surely they permit them when you are travelling somewhere hot.
If you look on their website there's a q&a that covers dress code. Bit hidden away, something like that should be up front and centre so I would have had sympathy with the bloke I saw if he wasn't a mag
