Summer Holidays

Off to Bulgaria tomorrow. Never been before. Going to a place called Sozopol, old fishing port. On a recommendation so fingers crossed.

Nowt but beach, sea and reading. Bliss. Hope so anyway.

Great recommendation for the restaurant. We've just left, managed to get a table straight away but 20 mins later the queue was 30 deep for a table. I'll try the second one tomorrow.

Went there for our honeymoon 36 years ago. Went back 11 for our silver wedding. Messongi next door a couple of years ago. lot quieter now, but suits us.

 

Messonghi is we're we are staying.

I stayed there nearly 40 year ago. Is there still a bloke in a little rowing boat that takes you over to where there’s a few bars?

Off to Monaco today. It got to 41 degrees yesterday and I became a human puddle. Hopefully it's a tad cooler

 

Off to Kefalonia for family holiday tomorrow. Hotel looks nice and hopefully quiet. I am goosed and looking forward to sleeping , swimming, reading and not much else for the next 12 days. … bar a few vinos/beers.
