The former. That's why I said it's a gamble.

If I knew they were ****e I'd say so.

There is no-one on this forum who knows these signings will do the business, all we can do is hope but the gut feel is that we have been left short again.

I get what you're saying but that gut feel is most likely to do with the fact that we've been ****ed over in the past.

We've ****ed up that many times i'm glad we're not going down the same route as we have previously with panic big money signings. The way the recruitment has been is working as we're strengthening the squad every season. If we keep going we will end up unearthing that hidden gem

That last bit is key. RLB has clearly had input as to who comes in and who leaves - players who can't play his system have been pushed out the door. It's exciting certainly to have a HC who knows exactly what he wants from his players (and to have the players capable of doing so).

Time will tell. Isidor,Mundle and Abdullahi might do the business. Wildcards as you say, but we could have said the same about Kevin Phillips. I am getting confident in RLB's abilities to get the best from these players. Difficult match today,but then a couple of weeks on the training ground and,hoping our players come back from these ****ing poxy internationals fit and well,the match at Plymouth will be interesting.

Pembele out on loan to Le Harve
Triantis out on loan to Hibs
Ekwah out on loan to Saint Etienne
