there's time but if we don't get one over the line considering we've had all summer, the sale of Clarke and Ekwah(?), the strikers mentioned in this thread and moves across Europe.

All very odd and ultimately disappointing, but quite polishing the pitchfork but by 11 i could be
 
So the two strikers we have been seriously linked to are now a) considering Germany and b) on the bench for Lyon.

Never known a club struggle to sign a certain spot as much as us. Really bizarre

Now I am really of the opinion no striker is coming in. It is just too late in the day for me. As close to our chest as we keep things this deadline day and stuff is really hard to keep quiet.

I am not even convinced the midfield lads are done. Something just isnt sitting well with me this last couple of days. Too many odd rumours, not enough definitive evidence.

Pathetic stuff again from the club. Everything done right...apart from a no.9. They'll have to hope we get no injuries, or Pepi turns up.

How do you know we didn't sign a striker last night and are waiting for a dramatic 10pm announcement? Too many on here desperate to slag the club off

Aye but his news was, the striker wants to join and is waiting for the clubs to finalise a deal. Surely if that was true he wouldn’t be in the squad

To be fair, when he leads with "Chances of Sunderland signing Gift Orban from Lyon today are looking pretty good right now"...it's kind of hard not to think he's full of absolute ****e the second Orban is named in the Lyon team tonight.

He's said it to get clicks on his articles man.
