Not made any easier to understand by everyone and his dog making their own conclusions and expectations of what's going on,without any basis for making them, rather than their own impressions and wishes. Just what a fans forum is all about!

Yeah the club seemed to create an expectation around that via off-the-record info. That being said, I'd be quite interested in Tom Watson being winger. The chatter about the Mexican winger seems to indicate that it's still a live aim, though.

If he actually thinks joining Cardiff and then loaned out to Belgium is a better career move than coming to Sunderland, then he obviously has zero confidence in his ability, and his career will amount to nothing.
I probably look bitter as **** saying that, but I only want players here who want to be here, and picking ****ing Cardiff over us tells you everything you need to know about him.

Maybe the drop off in the second half of the season helps us a touch there. He was one I wanted last summer, if we'd got Stewart done early.

Footballers think differently to us supporters too. He or the people around him might not see much of a difference to Sunderland and Cardiff at this moment in time.
