I agree. In my head if we were bringing in 2 then Isidor was for the left wing. If only one comes in then that means potentially requiring Isidor to be considered more as a central option. Rusyn can then give us that additional cover for the left.I think Rusyn could stick around if we only bring one striker in, his cameo was alright against Burnley did what he needed to do, he’s limited but he’s a pest and will force mistakes against tired defences
Rusyn might leave yetI agree. In my head if we were bringing in 2 then Isidor was for the left wing. If only one comes in then that means potentially requiring Isidor to be considered more as a central option. Rusyn can then give us that additional cover for the left.
I'm sure he was signed as cover for Clarke last season incase Clarke left back end of window?I think Rusyn could stick around if we only bring one striker in, his cameo was alright against Burnley did what he needed to do, he’s limited but he’s a pest and will force mistakes against tired defences
Yeah, this is my worry. We could have afforded to be short with centre mid tbf, with Jones, Lenz and that other good lad whose name escapes me.The worry with fullback cover is that even in the 21s we are playing Crompton as a fullback. So there's not a lot there either as Bainbridge is on loan at Killie! Lavery is the only option.
He wouldn’t be the worst option to have on the bench given he can play wide and on topI'm sure he was signed as cover for Clarke last season incase Clarke left back end of window?
He can't play up top though, we've seen that. He's like a headless chickenHe wouldn’t be the worst option to have on the bench given he can play wide and on top
Who would play wing back in that though? Not to big up Regis too much, but I'm thinking (20% hoping) he has a plan if Hume or Cirkin, or both are missing...3 at the back I'm guessing.
Question is, would such a formation change hinder us to the point of changing our seasons prospects?

I think RLB said he doesn't see Rusyn as a LW option.I agree. In my head if we were bringing in 2 then Isidor was for the left wing. I’m going to start posting the flags of our targets hoping they come offUpthere saying Simic is the primary target
After all this maybe Hugh Gains is the biggest ITK![]()
Might be okay in the high press, will never be a starter thoughHe can't play up top though, we've seen that. He's like a headless chicken
I must have missed that, MadMackem is saying there's still a chance he goes anyway so don't think he's in our plans either way!I think RLB said he doesn't see Rusyn as a LW option.
Mundle is the man in possession of the shirt and you could argue that Isidor, Watson OR Poveda could provide options there.
Be great to have Simic up top with Mayenda and Isidor as options off the bench.
I understand your point but would there be a time when all 4 first choices will be missing from the line up? Substitute 1 of the bottom 4 into the top and it won't be as bad, the weakest for me would be Johnson at RB but like you said they could change formation to accommodate
Johnson is another one I don’t expect to be here come 11pm tomorrowJohnson wouldn't let us down in his more natural CB role, then we could move O9 to full back, or bring Triantis in at CB. Also, hopefully in January, we'll have Huggins and Seelt, then it won't look bad at all.
If we can get a loan in until January, all well and good, but as long as midfield and up top is well covered, I won't have any cause for complaint with this transfer window.
Brandon Williams was previously on £50k so I'd worry about how much he'd cost us. Also completely disagree about O'Nien's mobility. He's more than capable of getting up and down the pitch for 90. I'd be surprised if there's a fitter player in the squad. Agree about Huggins, though. He's a really good player that would stop any worries about fullback instantly. The calculation for SAFC is whether they can wait for him to return - and what they feel he'll be like when he does get back. If we genuinely think that minutes from NH are reasonably likely after Christmas then I'd certainly be making do till then, personally.
