Watched some of Samed's games and you can see why RLB would want him in his system

Very quick to press, and aggresive with it - he seems to cover the ground so quickly for a CM. He keeps things simple in possession, played some lovely passes through the lines into his forwards feet or for them to run onto.

He did struggle a bit when pressed, but this was mostly down to hin wanting an extra touch in these situations - he plays 1st time passes effectively so i dont see this as a major issue.

The only concerning thing was he was slow to transition back on defense, he would get caught ball watching and leave big spaces in behind him. If hes being used as the deepest CM he will need to improve his defensive awareness.

Signs are very promising tho, think he would suit the system really well and i can see why we would be after him. 100% an upgrade on Ekwah n Adil (if thats who is to leave to make way for him)

As an aside, and to show myself up perhaps, I really dont rate that Chiesa who has gone to Liverpool. Bit of a deal for deal sake with them I think due to their window to date. Dont see him as a first team player their at all.
Decent player I reckon but injury record makes him a massive gamble and I don't think it will work out for that reason.

I dont know much about him at all. However, a lad I know watches loads of French football and messaged to say he can be superb in the right setup. Funnily he said he is good against a press because he sees a great pass. Because of his pedigree I am keen to see what he has to offer. Really good to see Neil have competition too. Cant have players feeling comfortable, even if they are captain. Might push him to another level again.

If there’s anyone there it’ll be the Serbian
Actually I’ve just checked it. There’s a poster OTR saying he’s hearing it’s done. He said he’s not ITK but the person who told would know if someone was accessing the SoL for say a photoshoot. Is the words he used. That’s why people are now excited the lights are on

he said he might be wrong but as above he’s not claiming to be ITK

100%, the games i watched his decision making was off a little when pressed but he then showed glimpses of firing 1st time passes through the lines which were impressive

I liked his ability to get around the pitch at pace, he def suits a pressing style of play
