I was sent a link to a YouTube thing called 'The Full Time Show' which is a real shocker tbh.
(It has little to do with yesterday's match so don't watch it for the football.)
Anyone thinking Sunderland should get up to the PL, by any means, and celebrate the parachute money if we're relegated should watch it. The Burnley fans are absolutely hysterical about what's going on. It seems they've had to sell, for some reason, sixteen players and more with follow. There's talk of financial problems, debts on interest shooting up, players refusing to play for the club, etc.
Being a yo-yo club might seem like a shortcut to riches but Norwich were the yo-yo kings and their crown has truly slipped.

I would hope selling Clarke, Aouchich and Ekwah would allow us to shop in a different market to Ligue 2Makes sense if Aouchiche and ekwah go
Quite keen on this lad. Good playmaking abilities but looks like he plays a more structured way than Aouchiche.
He looks immense and can play in cold weather![]()

Cannon would be a permanent I think. I’d argue he’s worth less than when Leicester signed him though.Don't see any merit in loaning a young CF from the PL. We have Mayenda, we have Isodor and it looks like we'll get at least one of Mendy & Simic.
If we are to use the loan market I'd be looking at midfield and/or full back.
100%Just checked how Isidor has got on this current season at Zenit.
played 5 games, all at CF and scored 2
Would you start him against Pompey? I think I would just to take the pressure off of Mayenda
Problem with him right now is, you can tell his confidence isn’t there yet, still panics when he receives the ball. It’ll come with time though and taking him out of the spotlight will help100%
I thought Mayenda was poor yesterday, especially in the second half
I agree. Better first but a couple of brain farts second half. Add a proper, ready to play striker yesterday we win by 3100%

Not totally sold on these young lads from PL academies who go for big money despite having scored minimal goals. £20m for Delap is a lot of money to spend on potential.Cannon would be a permanent I think. I’d argue he’s worth less than when Leicester signed him though.

He seemed scared to shoot, same with a few of them.100%

comes across really well here, talks about the type of striker he is etc and how he can’t wait to score his first goal and he likes penalties etc
I really like this lad, his confidence is clear to see and we need that upfront

What is Burstow supposed to have cost? Not totally sold on these young lads from PL academies who go for big money despite having scored minimal goals. £20m for Delap is a lot of money to spend on potential.
Cannon, Burstow, Delap.... there is a crazy premium on young, English strikers
