With the exception of a few moments (due likely to lapses in concentration) he generally seemed to have them just about there in that regard against Marseille.

I do still find it a little odd though that the club identified him as the coach to implement this sort of style when it’s not really something he deployed at Lorient much at all. I don’t doubt there’s a reason for it, it’s just not obvious to me as an outside observer.

We're all outside obververs mate, nothing is obvious.

Whilst always looking forward to the season the striker situation is becoming an irritant to be honest. We could be so close yet so far if this is not addressed

You do get bits of insight on certain things though. Some more than others.

Fair play.....but there's not much ever coming from inside these days, which is not how it was in the past.
It doesn't bother me,I assume they're getting on with it,but there are those among us who get spooked when they don't hear anything, and, for some obscure reason, seem to assume that means bad news.

Two players wages off the books for the next season, good news. Wish them both well and think they will have great seasons if they stay fit.

Can see Bennette being next…

Pembele could leave on loan, Le Bris confirms
Lad needs minutes, he's clearly got something about him considering where he's came from but his injury has definitely knocked him and the only way to get him back to his previous level is game time which he won't get here.

Loan him out and see what the situation is next summer.

Who plays RB if Hume gets injured?

We have Hume, O'Nien, Alese, Cirkin and Johnson as available defenders, with Ballard and Triantis to come back soon. Seelt and Huggins in the NY. I wouldn't say we are awash with defenders to be loaning people out

I would probably be more comfortable with any of them as the right back on Saturday than I would be if Pembele was starting.
