Technically I think EE is excellent but he’s never really pushed himself happy just to stroll through games he has been a bit unlucky with his injury timings though. I think if he had a full season withTM he would have thrived. Mowbray really brought out the real Dan Neil I was hoping he could do the same for EE but didn’t get the chance. Probably time for him to move on but he needs a manger that will really push him
Feel for Embleton. Always felt he gave us everything and he is a talented lad. We have probably just moved on to a level where he will not get many minutes. Somebody like Adil or Ba would be ahead of him at the minute you would think, and they are currently fighting to be first change, if that makes sense. One thing for sure he is too good for L2. Surprised Derby havent made a move for him again to be honest.

Would love to see Embo rebuild his career, but hope he doesn’t drop to league 2.

I’d say Embleton could be a decent league one player. Not sure of his best position, my instinct says playing deeper. He doesn’t have much pace but is technically good and is fairly strong and likes a tackle so that’s where it seems to fit, but I may be very wrong on that.

Reactions: Young Ted
I’d be shocked to see us bring 2 forwards in never mind 3
Speakman said they wanted three strikers: main, backup and development. Assume Hemir is away, Mayenda is development. We’ve seen little to suggest Rusyn is a striker, so they could be looking to sell, loan or play him in a different position. If that’s the case then bringing two in makes sense to fill main and backup positions.
