Also, Roker Report haven't mentioned Mendy once on twitter since they reported the medical. If it doesn't come off it's really poor by them.
In one sense they’re fans who probably got over excited and were misinformed but on the other if they want to be a serious news outlet they should fact check before posting but no harm done really, hopefully have a clearer picture by the end of the week

I really like Mayenda from what I’ve seen pre season. He seems to be a lot more of a handful for defenders compared to Hemir, and is constantly running the channels and pressuring.
Just needs to work on his composure in the final third, but that can come with time.

I am a fan of his. Pace and power and works really hard. Bits to work on but would be the sort of centre forward I think we could benefit from. A very good age too and in his 18 months in the championship has done well enough.
