I always felt like he never quite had the ball under control? Quick so sometime things came off due to speed but generally the ball always seemed to be about to run away from him.

Is it just me?
Yeah agree, hes a winger who is quick n beat an opponent so hes always got a chance to make it but i just dont think hes good enough from what ive seen since hes joined us

I’d prefer Moore over Bass or Bishop.
Perhaps but that doesn’t necessarily mean he’s a good option. To be honest Bass seems to have had a good season and would probably be adequate as cover. Moore has barely played for two seasons. Wasn’t even on the bench last season.

Moore could sign here and be third choice, who knows. I’d imagine it’ll be a low wage. I’ve got no complaints with us adding experience to the group - it’s needed.

You had to go and spoil to mood! <laugh>
I’m usually the optimistic one but I can’t see any real value in having a player that’s been kept out by two very average keepers for the last two seasons in this league. We’ve already got two keepers that can be a third choice championship keeper.

Fits the bill of what I wanted us to sign as a GK this summer. Older head, doesn't expect to start but has plenty games under his belt so he won't be unprepared if he has to step in, allows us to develop Young for 2+ years, allows us to make some money from Bass and Bishop.

Smart business.
But who would sign for a club with no coach to instil his vision?

That Moore link has got to be pure bullshit mind, we are already overburdened in that area with three players who will expect to be apart of the first team squad (not to mention bags of young talent) and whilst it's very possible one or maybe even two of them move on this summer, there would be no indication that any of that is imminent whilst they're still on holiday.

Sometimes they make this sort of sh!t up and sometimes you can figure that out, this is one of those times.

That’s a good signing at League One level. He made 17 appearances in the Premier League last season and scored a couple. Still believe he’d have done a job in the championship. Nathan Jones will have Charlton competing for a play off place imo.

See Peterborough bought that Chris Conn Clarke, the "best player in non league". He'll either leave next summer for 10 million or be loaned out by January. Another one we'll have "missed out on".

Or the jump will be too high for him and it really won't be much of a loss or a miss at all.

Maybe better to wait and see who we actually sign before we get upset by our summer signings

More likely to be over valued for a couple of seasons and go on a free transfer.
