He mainly plays on the right for QPR mate so hopefully a natural left winger gets signed to replace Clarke, said to my dad when the QPR game was on that he would be exactly who I’d go for with his experience (and the fact his contract is up) so happy with this, is it right we were close to signing him in jan?

He seems to have had a good year without injuries so wouldn't be too against it. Good championship experience. Think he nearly signed in January. Not sure why it didn't happen. Maybe they knew he was available on a free a few months later ?

Right or left.

Would hope he isn't the man to replace Clarke. Doesn't have anywhere close to the output. Solid played and better than most of the young lads we seem to sign from the continent. But , would hope we go a little more ambitious if it was to replace Clarke.
Yeah I agree but I think that will come once he is sold. Still like the idea of using the free agent market like this though and considering it worked with Batth, Pritch and Evans it annoyed me that we went away from it.

Last time Willock was in a decent side was 21/22 and he had 7 goals 11 assists so he has previous of very good seasons and for a free I think its worth the punt.

Adds a new verse to the Lee Howey chant as well which is a bonus of course.

Just what I heard at a match a few weeks ago mate so had a feeling it was going to be revisited with his contract situation

Uninspiring. Always seems to be injured whenever I see his name come up.

Played about 100 games over last 3 seasons so I'm clearly taking ****e. Free transfer, minimal risk.

Seems to have played mostly wide right in a 4-2-3-1 so would fit in with our tactical approach I guess. Chips in with 5 or 6 goals a season, same number of assists. Better stats than Roberts.

he was excellent under beale last season until he left i think the were links to prem clubs last jan aswell, very solid bit of business from club and to look like it's been done so early aswell

Good signing, seems to have quality and has the experience we need in the team

now just for a centre forward with some experience and a CDM

Id be happy with him personally for the squad. I really do hope we can spend some cash on some top quality Championship players aswell though

The sort of signing I’d be happy with. Good age with plenty of experience in this league.
Plus still has room to grow, remains me of the pritchard signing - talented player thats probably just lost his way

Was unreal the season before last (think it was then) n was a joy to watch

I talk a lot about xfactor players (match winners) and he is one of them

Would be a quality signing
