Few weeks back I was edging towards sign him but now he’s what 23/24? And no one knows his correct position yet, I think we can do better

If we want to be an average Championship team then we will sign him, aswell as giving Evans a new contract the age he is. Its time for our hierarchy to show us their intent because these last 2 windows have been abysmal and shameful

I dont mind styles, dont think we've given him a proper run in cm to really see what hes like. However, i think we can sign better

I mentioned earlier about mcnair being a good versatile player as is styles but think we need more specialised players for key positions rather than just squad players

We need to be abit ruthless this window, bloated squad most of a similar ability to each other

Styles is £2m. I like him and think there is a very good player to be found. You dont play for the current Hungary team easily. I would release Evans and then it comes down to whether we think £2m is value or not I suppose, and that is relevant to our budget. I see him as a really solid first team option, in midfield. We need players to rotate. For me players like Ekwah need competition and Styles would bring it.

Feels a bit high for me, surprised it's that high to be honest, I would low ball them and go no higher than £1.25M.

We really are desperate for a specialised CDM to take the pressure off Neil and provide cover for the defence, that’s should be our priority imo. Followed by a striker or two. Of course this all depends on how the new coach wants to setup.

We already have one of the best centre halves in the league, one of the best CM in the league and the best left winger in the league. We aren’t that far away from being a very good side if we get the right additions in and a coach who has the slightest clue how to get the best out of the squad on a game to game basis.

The Patterson to Liverpool move seems strange to me. Leaving his boyhood club where he's a nailed on starter to be a back up doesn't seem like a good move to me. It also seems like a strange move for Liverpool considering his ability with the ball at his feet is probably the weakest part of his game.

For us though, £12m would represent good business if we could bring Johannson (or someone of that level in) for around £1m.

Matty Young is the future number 1 of this club and I'd want his route into the first team clear for a couple of years' time so no need to overspend in that position.
I'd be sad to see Patto leave, but recent performances suggest he needs a move. He's got what it takes to be a Premier League keeper and should get over £10m.

Going with the current policy of replacing with youth, I'd find a younger keeper who can perform well but whose career needs a jump start

Former England U21 Etienne Green is wanting away from St Etienne. Contract runs out next year so a deal could be done. Best of all his dad's from Colchester so could translate for some of the other lads

I know he was highly rated, but looks like he's barely played for St.Etienne this season. He has the best name ever for a St.Etienne player by the way.
