Spot on, he was a shadow of the player after his injury. Watched him a few times last season and he was up there with the worst CBs in the league so the club was totally spot on with letting him go when they did
Think they need at least 12 signings. 9 of the 20 players in their final matchday squad have already left and that isn't including Philogene, Greaves, Seri and Giles who have all been linked away so it's possible that it becomes 13/20 soon. Crazy.

Sunderland are keen on a deal to sign former Preston North End midfielder Alan Browne, The Echo understands.
It's understood that the 29-year-old has held positive initial talks with Sunderland and visited the region as he weighs up his next steps, though he does have other interest given his proven track record at the level. The Black Cats are keen on strengthening their central midfield options which are currently light following the departure of Corry Evans at the end of his contract. They have also held an interest in former Sheffield United midfielder Oliver Norwood.
Their owner came out and said to the fans they’ll be spending close to their FFP limits again lol wouldn’t be surprised to see them bring in a fair few good players this summer. You’re allowed £40m in losses over 3 seasons so they’ve basically just been given a fresh start from the double sale they’re about to push through
