It seems that several posters believe they have a better insight into what Simons can produce based on a handful of appearances than what the management have seen by those same performances and training everyday.
There’s no god given right to a place in the team or even the squad. Could it just be that he hasn’t been showing enough for them to feel that he isn’t ready for the Championship just yet and maybe a decent run in a L1 team would be better for his development? There also seemed to be a few suggestions previously that this is exactly what we should be doing with Vaughn.
We all have our opinions but very few actually know what’s going on day to day on the training ground.

With Oscar gone we also need to develop a bigger threat from our centre halves at corners and free kicks, we've kept hold of Greaves, he should really now fulfill his potential this season and become as imposing as Michael Turner, Curtis Davies and James Chester were at this level for us and score more goals.

The Simons ****fest died after the Donny game. He’s clearly not as good as some thought, which makes it strange why either we or he pursued a permanent transfer. We’re wasting our money and he’s wasting his time.

It's almost like players can appear good and then go through a rough patch and players are humans who don't perform at a consistent level all the time.

How good would it be to be able to find a couple like those 3.

With all due respect. We're not in the business(or certainly shouldn't be due to our resources) of paying out money to 'blindly' entice young talent to our Club to check them out and see if they can kick a ball?

If there's some suggestion that we don't scout talent but act on hearsay,or a whim,I'd be interested to know where that's come from and what the owner's point of view is on his money being wrecklessly washed down the drain.

As it's the owner signing off on these deals I think he's ok with them.

Sounds like the "Mystery" player we missed was Rak - Sakyi. Baz saying in HDM that Palace missed his potential replacement so pulled out of the deal

It’s almost as if he’d been hyper well beyond his ability based off I’m not sure exactly what. 5 minutes here or there.

Same as so many have completely written Sinik off as useless based on about 20 minutes of game time when recovering from a bad injury.

We as fans have absolutely no idea whether either of them are up to it or not. Neither have had any sort of opportunity to show what they can do.

You 'think' he's O.K with them?

Is that an answer or a wild grasp at a straw?

Ric he's the one funding them and bragging about them to anyone who will listen. It's not someone else signing off on them. If he's signing off on them he approves of them, that's how it works.

Except that the club don't sign or refuse to play players based on what gets written on here. They watch them in training. Bringing up Sinik is an odd one as he seems to be consistently unrated by Rosenior and fans.

You're right, we as fans have no clue. So complaining about the club's decisions about Simons are pointless.

He got MOTM on his full debut for us in the championship. Think it came from that in fairness

We aren’t complaining we’re discussing decisions our club makes
And our club makes some good some bad some **** decisions
