Ok if people are being asked to be realistic about where we are compared to where we have been previously, then those people need to be realistic and realise philogene isn't a top talent of this country.

Yes he is. Though I guess depends on how you define top.

Well hopefully everything will go smoothly i suspect some are already ready to announce but think they were waiting for today as it will be busiest and he would like the club in the news.

Has there been a club in history whose signings were all brilliant and never signed a dud?

The club are trying to higher calibre players, some will work and some wont. It’s in the intent we should be positive about.

I can imagine the next few games on here - “Told you he was ****e!!!”

I think we’ve had a decent window so far. Squad quality improved. A stronger bench. Competition in most key areas.

Sunderland look like they are about to lose Patrick Roberts and Ross Stewart to Southampton. Ross Stewart would have been a great signing - £10m - out of our reach.

The next 5 games are pretty difficult,

Leicester - A
Coventry - H
TWS - H
Stoke - A
Plymouth - H

So will be a decent measure of how the Team is by then , we would have played some difficult teams away Norwich,Blackburn,Leicester,Stoke so if we can pull a couple of wins from the next 5 games it would put us in a pretty decent position moving on.

I reckon there's at least 5 points there if we play well.

Oh no I meant that’s what I’d say to a Wendies/Piggies fan.

That is a great effort on your part though. What a knob.
A few days before the FA Cup semi-final, my godfather (who is a Sheff United fan) was harping on about their glory days and eventually got so heated he said “if you beat us it’s an upset.”
I just said “okay Goliath, £100 on it.”

David got paid. Sorted my ticket out and the travel.

Morning, todays the it all happens……right?

Yes unless you are a Saudi club then you got another week which is a pisstake really considering they could get a player from a club that would be unable to replace them till Jan.

But we would have to just accept £150 mill from a saudi club and hope we won't miss Sinik till next transfer window.

"You'll see," Rosenior said with a grin across the width of his face. "I'm excited for what we've done. I can see it because of the talks I've been having and the calls I've been getting. The plans are starting to fall into place and people will start to say 'ok, now it makes sense' which I've been saying all along anyway."
