Thats right. Hes good with the ball at his feet. Its just everything else you want from a keeper hes not good at in particular shot stopping. Hes one of the reasons we almost got relegated.
Fair enough. Our current keeper Ingram is a very good shot-stopper. Not as good with his feet but in his defence, unless a keeper learns to play out from the back throughout their years in the academy, it’s a huge learning curve. He’s getting better at it though. Personally, if I had to choose, I’d rather a keeper who is good at saving over one that’s good with his feet but couldn’t save a Word document. Ideally, we would’ve signed one good, or at least competent, at both but it seems Rosenior settled on Allsop after exhausting all other options.
That was below the belt. Talking of Scottish, not a couple of good nights for Scottish clubs in Europe.
Is Buckley a #10? Unless I’m thinking of that Rothwell who used to play for them and joined Bournemouth.
Former Iceland midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson has returned to football on a one-year contract with Danish top-flight side Lyngby Boldklub. The 33-year-old, who scored 67 goals in 318 Premier League appearances, has been a free agent since leaving Everton when his contract expired in 2022. I thought he was the mystery Premier League player who was facing serious criminal charges?
We can't have that on here! Only pointless bickering, and unrealistic claims are what we are used to!
Oscar travelling to Metz for medical tomorrow, according to some French journalist. Loan with £5m purchase option.
