I know nothing, but I wonder if it could be Patrick Roberts. Was on loan at Derby two years ago so known to our manager.

Don't think we've got deep enough pockets for Patrick Roberts.

I don't think it's likely or realistic for this window but I'd like to see a proper English-style target man come in to backup Delap. Having a bit of a bully upfront as an alternative option I feel could be a real asset

Ashley Barnes would’ve been perfect. Bit expensive for a back up mind.

They did. Think the wording was ‘anyone who follows football is likely to have heard of him’. I know am a bit out of touch these days an quickly forget a name but that rules out almost any youngster on loan, anyone playing abroad and most foreign players plying their trade here.

So just to clarify, we still are after;
  1. One winger, possibly the lad from Palace?
  2. Another winger who is believed to be the blow yer socks off player, who everyone has heard of.
  3. A goalie, possibly Heaton
  4. Bird, though in doubt due to his injury.
Is that correct? Where does your lad fit in Amin, or is that someone else?

Pretty much, although some are saying if we get the blow your socks off kid that we wont get Bird too.

If we'd have managed that one i think more than my socks would've been blown off! Don't think we have any chance of getting him though unfortunately, think even a loan would've been astonishing, a lot of premier league clubs would snap at the chance to take him on loan, like the blunts for example.

This is me too. There have been lots of names I've not heard of touted as potentials on here. Presumably as they are PL kids. I don't know many of the senior PL players, never mind the kids.
