I’d agree with that
But who was there to pass too?
Who’s taking the game by the scruff of the neck and getting the team going?
I think a big decision needs to be made with Seri Tufan and Traore
I’d like to see all three play but I don’t think it’s feasible
And the others aren’t good enough to carry the graft for them slater etc

whoever we can get a few quid for should be gone

I was shocked when I came on here and saw him being slaughtered. Defensively he was very good. Onel Hernandez did **** all. In possession he was iffy but the majority were.

I think by this time next year, most of the signings from last summer will be gone.

imo, worth repeating (bold).
We talk about needing wide players, pace, a keeper, etc, but we still need this just as much, arguably more.

Volume of chances for Norwich mean he's going to get plenty of chances to do that. As NT said above, the comment/criticism is more about what he did in possession than out of it.

He also didn't make a single interception for the game. He had 5 clearances, Jones had 10, Greaves had 6, Vinagre (who was also poor) had 0. Basically the only stat he was best in out of the defence was tackles where he had 3.

It's really funny but just looked at a few stats sites and you'll never guess who was our top-rated player on both.... Coyle.

Yes, he lost the ball the most, but Tufan lost it 13 times, Seri lost it 10 times, Slater 11, Adama 8 times, Vaughan 8 times and they're our technical players.

And they're in midfield where they should be playing those more risky passes. I don't understand how you can compare midfielders in the engine room to fullbacks/defenders who need to be much more clinical with their passing. It's why I never understood those who slated Seri for his turnovers.

As for him being our top rated player, it shows how warped those stats sites can get with how they weight particular stats. As pointed out above, the stats he should be measured first and foremost in he didn't outperform any of his peers.
 
Was disappointed to see Coyle starting over Christie .... but that was a call Rosenior got right. Coyle was only just edged out by Ingram for 3rd in my MoM. No idea how the stats define 'interceptions'. A number of times Coyle intercepted with well timed brave headers for example. Maybe they're clearances? Like Ayling for Leeds, he has his limitations, but he gives his all and was nowhere near our worst nor part of the problem yesterday. Christie looked way off it, again, when he came on; which has to be concerning. Hopefully he plays Tuesday as part of him getting back up to speed.

By comparison Vinagre only turned it over 10 times so it still seems quite high. Whenever he got the ball pinged to him he seemed to panic and fire it off first time instead of controlling it and looking up.

Luton had plenty of players who were both fast and physically imposing - important attributes in this league if you want to get out of it in the right direction. Coventry relied heavily on a proven goal scorer in Gyokeres and play maker in Hamer. Be interesting to see how their replacements get on. Like ST says I don't think we are serious contenders for the top 6 this season (whatever the next few weeks brings) but suspect we will be comfortably mid-table

Jesus, that's a contender for most stupid comment on this thread. Vaughan didn't get involved enough, but he did alright when he got the ball, generally used it well enough. Our worst player was probably Tufan, he coughed up possession multiple times when in good positions in the final third, his attempted 1-2 with Traore being the most horrible example.

I thought this. Amount of times Coyle was isolated on the right wing with their player in his face and either he had to boot it long or try something and nothing was working. Even the 3 you mentioned were poor with the ball yesterday
